Energy Policies

Energy policies cover many laws and policies enacted by governments (US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, China) that impact carbon emissions, clean energy, EV mandates, etc. One good example is the Paris Accords. Other examples include recent laws in the EU and California about new vehicles becoming EVs after 2035.
Corporate ESG policies to become zero-carb are being implemented to a greater or lesser extent. This can involve investing in cleaner forms of energy, upgrading manufacturing facilities, switching from coal-fired power plants to natural gas or biomass fuels, or converting truck fleets from diesel to EVs.
